Orientation/Blackout is a 30 day process. New residents separate themselves from their former lifestyles and begin their physical healing. This allows them to open up to emotional and spiritual healing. They begin a consistent schedule of work within the facility, bible study, and spiritual and emotional mentoring.
This portion of our program lasts roughly 90 days. Each man and woman are taught to follow a consistent, structured daily routine, which develops biblical qualities and healthy boundaries.
We teach each person how to live their lives using a balance of spiritual study, self discipline and personal accountability. These tools, along with their daily schedules will develop positive work habits, which are vital for returning home.
Men and Women will be thought to apply the knowledge that they have learned. Although, it takes more than mental knowledge, it's a lifestyle you choose daily. You must allow Jesus to be the Lord and compass of your life.
When a disciple shows that he or she can apply the lifestyle they have been taught, our goal then becomes assisting them in seeking employment and/or vocational training opportunities. This enables each person to begin transitioning back into their community as a productive member, and an invaluable asset to their families.
We encourage the residents to live on site, while utilizing our support for up to two years. This allows them the time to learn financial independence by debt reduction and saving for the future.
